SpaceX & More!

Happy Monday!
I’ve been… slower, today, than usual.
And for no reason than just, “I don’t really wanna because LAZY feels so much more fun!”

Nevertheless, I proceed.

Last week when I started my new DS challenge I kind of plotted out what I would try and do within my 66 days. Part 1, however long it took, was going to be about finishing my IBM capstone project. It’s coming along nicely and I think I can finish it and send it off some time next week.

The project is a step by step analysis of the SpaceX rockets. Today’s tasks were to create a variety of Scatter plots and Bar Graphs to visualize the launch sites, rocket mass, and success rates.

So, the weakness I found is that while I’m getting better at the technical skill of coding in Python, the reasons why I’m analyzing sometimes get lost. I think it’s mainly because I’m so focused on completing the tasks correctly in tutorials and classes that I’m not fully comprehending why I’m doing it.

I’m glad I’ve started to identify that analysis weakness because that’s like, a rather important part of Data Science! I’m not sure I’ll be quite successful otherwise, LOL!

Anyways, lastly, I finished this afternoon’s coding session with the first project on freecodecamp.org, Data Analysis with Python. Building functions is really hard but I also love practicing so that I can be good for those future interviews!
