Practicing on Demographic Info…

Well it’s FRIDAY as I write this, so Happy Friday!

The reason why there is a picture of a Lion is because when I was learning how to code at the height of the Pandemic, I would put on a movie or rerun binge-worthy tv show, and code through projects. It kept me entertained AND acted as a pomodoro type clock: a few episodes while doing web development, then a few more episodes of something else while I did Python projects.

Today I watched, “The Lion King” and made it about half way through a project on freecodecamp.org. I started the Data Analysis Certification a few weeks ago.

The current project involves analyzing a specific demographic dataset and find things like, “the average of men making over $50,000 with a Bachelors degree”.

I’m always waiting to hear from a job prospect, so I’m trying fill my time rather than sit around and be anxious! UNGH the suspense is killing me. I know they’re deciding and working on things behind the scenes. Anxiety and I are close friends so this waiting is so annoying!

Anyway.
#66DaysofData continues to be a fun and useful challenge. I personally really like any coding challenge that gets you involved and learning. What can I say, I’m a lifelong learner!
